NFL Player Mchael Bennet Pledges Book Endorsement Money to Black Organizations

The book will discuss “the NFL, racism, sexism, intersectionality and athletes no longer being silenced.”

Michael Bennet of the Seattle Seahawks is in the process of writing a book titled Things that Make White People Uncomfortable.

It’s not out of character for Bennet to speak about race, social issues, and politics.

His publisher describes the memoir as “a sports memoir and manifesto as hilarious as it is revealing.”

Dave Zirin of the Nation, the book’s co-author, had a few things to say on Twitter:

The two-time Pro Bowler recently pledged his 2017 endorsement earning to organizations that work to empower women of color.

At the 2017 BET Awards, Bennet and his brother were awarded the Shine a Light Award due to their generous philanthropy.

The book will be released in April  of next year.
